Innovation drives long-term economic development and prosperity in the U.S.
To help catalyze innovation and its benefits, the public sector, universities and non-profits play an important role to support and partner with businesses and investors.
Research has found that most innovations in clean energy and other hard and science tech would not be made without public R&D business assistance and grant programs. Moreover, research has found that every dollar in public investment typically produces 8 to 10 dollars in private capital.
These investments start businesses throughout the country. When states, cities, and universities invest in young companies alongside the federal government, they build their local innovation ecosystems and economies and grow jobs locally, rather than losing promising startups to the coasts or large cities.
ICatalysts has served government agencies for 10+ years. We get the mission of impact oriented institutions. Our staff understand the challenges that the public sector faces including getting policy and executive support, navigating tight budgets and procurement processes, and reaching and engaging stakeholders.
To support engagements including open innovation and crowdsourcing, and stakeholder engagement and research, we leverage our database of 35,000+ contacts nationwide.
Our contacts work in technology and innovation in all sectors and industries. These include contacts at startups and small businesses, large and medium-sized companies, universities, angel, VC and corporate investors, accelerators and incubators, and the public sector (e.g., cities, states, federal government).
To help meet specific client needs, we often tap our network of experts including industry experts, technologists and university professors.
