ICatalysts’ clients include the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S Department of State, State and private R&D, tech to market and entrepreneurial programs in California, Michigan, and New York, and universities, accelerators. We design and run tech acceleration and innovation programs, develop state and regional strategies and roadmaps to build innovation ecosystem capacity, craft state level investment strategies and portfolios, devise investment KPIs and innovation metrics, create measurement tools and software, provide training and workshops to accelerators, universities and startups, and create and manage large online content platforms to reduce barriers to find funding and partners for innovators and startups such as Empower Innovation.
Our Experience
We have worked with state and federal agencies, universities, accelerators, startups, and corporations across the U.S and all major technology sectors. We have supported nationally recognized accelerators, mentored over 1,500 startups/7,500 entrepreneurs that have raised over $4B. Our staff has advised corporate new ventures at AT&T, Avery Dennison, Bank of America, J.D. Power, GE, SAIC, SAP, Whirlpool, and other major corporations. Our partner, Entrepreneur Futures Network, has 650 mentors with leading startups, investors, and corporations. We have relationships with over 2,000 organizations catalyzing innovation including investors, corporations, universities, accelerators, startups, federal labs, and state R&D agencies.
Nationwide Presence
ICatalysts has staff located in Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, and Washington State provide training, advice, and mentorship to accelerators and companies to develop their capabilities. We have developed and manage a large innovation funding collaboration platform (www.empowerinnovation.com) with over $90B in funding opportunities and over 4,600 members. We have software to map and analyze industry sectors and clusters to aid in regional economic development program planning, client research and evaluation.
Our Approach
Working across several industries and interdisciplinary work, we bring a context and perspective to our engagements including our comparative knowledge of different models and approaches gained from our experience across sectors, industries and clients. Our service model is to tap our expert staff, often in collaboration with others who believe in our mission to catalyze innovation and to engage our networks and relationships with 2,000 universities, corporations, institutions, investors and other consulting firms.
